HOCKEY SEASON IS OFFICIALLY HERE!!!

Grandma Connie came to watch Logan's game. She rarely misses his games and is such a riot when she is there. See Connie I promised I wouldn't put that goofy picture up and I didn't :) But trust me I wanted too!!!!
Logan's first body check of the season!! He really hit that kid hard and had a second one during his third game but he had to sit in the penalty box for cross checking.

WE WON!!!

Happy 11th Birthday Hunter Man!!! It is so hard to believe that 11 years have gone by this fast. You came into this world so sick and today you are such a healthy boy with tons of energy and a HUGE heart!! We love you bud :)

So until December 11th I will have two 11 year olds!!

Guess what happened last night?? Yes Hunter is sick with the flu :( Poor guy and here I just said he was a healthy boy. Honestly though he is never sick this is a fluke thing.

Thanks Grandma I love you

He thought that was very funny!!

Mom made him a sock monkey and gave him $10 for his birthday. For those of you who don't know my son he LOVES monkeys and has since he was little.

The song I have on my blog now (Chicken Fried) I can so picture my cousin Dave singing it. So Dave will you please sing this song for me?? I can't wait to see you sometime soon!!!

Took Miss Grace to the ENT doctor yesterday due to her terrible snoring. She needs to get her tonsils and adenoids out. They said her tonsils were quite large and would be best to do so. We have not yet picked the date to do the surgery but when we do we will let everyone know.

We had a great weekend going to Sean's parents house. Sean, Dave and the boys went hunting while us girls went shopping. Nice to just get away and relax for a day. While on our shopping trip I got the book The Love Dare and I am so excited to start reading it. For those of you who went to the movie Fireproof is anyone reading the book also? I am so excited to see what it will do for us.

Sunday we got home at noon and I took the boys to town to get haircuts while Grace and Sean relaxed watching the game. After we got home from town I got Grace and dropped Hunter off so he could go to a basketball game with Dad. The rest of us headed to Moms house to train for search and rescue. The two boys hid out in the trees for about an hour while they did some training with the dogs then the search team went out with their dogs to find the boys. Mom has really enjoyed getting involved in search and rescue and Rosey (moms dog) is doing really well!! So all and all what a great afternoon we had.

Hunting Buddies

This is for Mom and Buzz and of course myself. Tomorrow is the day that Casey will no longer suffer. Casey was born when I was in high school by Ginger who was our family dog. Casey has always been a great dog and I am so sad for my parents. Tomorrow will be such a hard day for them and I can totally relate due to putting Bailey down almost 3 months ago. I was there when we put Ginger down and plan on being there tomorrow for Mom again when they put Casey down. Mom and Buzz you are in my thoughts and prayers and I love you guys. There will be many tears shed over the next few days and I would like to say with time Mom it will be easier but I can't. People mention Bailey and I have to ask them please don't talk about her cause it still brings tears to my eyes. LOVE YOU GUYS and hang in there!!!

So with the snow on the ground outside it really has me in the mood for Christmas. Yes I know Thanksgiving hasn't even come and gone yet. But I can't help myself to think about all the holiday baking and the fun shopping with a starbucks to finish the day off. Sean and the boys are heading north for the rest of the weekend. I might tackle our Christmas letter. So if you want to be on the list of receiving a card send me an email at kathylesnar@yahoo.com and enclose your mailing address. Well enjoy the rest of your day as I will!!!

So we are at the start of winter I do believe. Got a couple of inches of snow last night nothing like out west there is a town out there that got 45.7 inches!!!! I like winter as long as it is not below freezing. Looks like for today it is going to be in the low 30's with a wind in the mid 20's BRRR.

As for our house I was going to finish the last three loads of laundry so I would barely have any to do this weekend. So get a load of towels going and the next thing I know my washer is making this really loud clang noise. So there went that idea out the window. I will have to call the local appliance guy and get him out here. I wish I could say I have an old washer and dryer but I got new ones about three years ago. Been begging for the front loaders maybe if this isn't fixable I can get them. I guess we can always dream right?? Have a great Friday I know I will :)

So I came home from work on Friday to find not only had my living room been rearranged but I got new carpet. I was so excited I think I am still smiling. Okay for those of you who haven't been to our house it is Very Old like 130+ years old. My hubby is a very talented man and has done some great remodeling for me since we moved in two years ago this February. Anyways the carpet is a dark brown with a little bit of cream in it GORGEOUS I will add. The furniture is a little cramped how he moved it but it will work :) I still need to find something for the wall behind the couch cause that's where the entertainment center sat before. With time I am sure I will find something.
