This is so cute I just had to share with the rest of you. Grace brings home a recipe for a Thanksgiving meal from school that she wrote.
Buy a 6 pound turkey. Before cooking the turkey, put it on a pan. Then stuff it with baste. Cook it for 6 hours at 2 degrees. Other foods to eat with the turkey are mashed potatoes, mac-n-cheese, milk and ice cream. Grace is thankful for sandals.
That whole sandals thing cracked me up she is definitely like her mama!! If it didn't snow here in SD I would wear flip flops year around.
On another note had a very nice day, we went to the farm and ate an amazing meal with great family. Nothing beats Marys homemade buns and Grandmas Rosies stuffing. YUMMY!!! We are now back home and relaxing before the hockey filled weekend. Hunter plays here all weekend while Sean and Logan head to the cities all weekend. Welcome to hockey season I guess you could say.

Happy 13th Birthday Hunter
Little Hunter Man came into this big world unable to breath on his own. Weighing 7 lbs 5 oz he looked so big compared to the other sick babies in the NICU

Hunter loved his pooh bear

Best Buds

Wow so hard to believe that 13 years have gone by. Seems like yesterday he entered this world and shortly after we found out how sick he was. Swooped off without ever being held he was off to Sioux Falls. After 19 long days in the NICU Hunter was able to come home and join his big brother. I still believe a lot had to do with his stubbornness!! Hunter is one strong willed child that is for sure. But that is him and we love him so much. Hunter has a heart of gold and a work ethic that will get him so far in life.

Life has sure been busy for the Lesnars. We are now going into our 4th week of hockey practice. That consists of 6 nights a week at the rink and 3 of those nights we are there until after 9pm. Games start this coming weekend with Hunter traveling to SF and Pierre. Grace also has her first competition this weekend in SF. It is all a bit exhausting but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Today I cooked the majority of the day and got meals prepared for the whole week and in the freezer. I am hoping that will take off some of the pressure in the evenings.
We also have three birthdays sneaking up on us pretty fast. Hunter will be 13 on the 24th and then Logan and Austin have birthdays in December. We will officially have two teenage boys in this house. I will have to say I still think it will be easier then when we have one teenage daughter!!
