So the same storm that hit us at the lake this weeked also went through Brookings. We didn't get any damage minus some larger and smaller brances and one large tree. Thankfully it went the other way instead of towards the house, It also just missed the propane tank.

We went to Lake Poinsett for what was supposed to be the weekend. We had a blast all day Saturday Covrigs came up to hang out and relax with us. We rode jet skis, did some fishing, tubing, boating and relaxed. Then the storm came and our weekend came to a screaching hault. Thats okay though we enjoyed what we did get. The girls had so much fun playing together in the water as the boys did tubing. I think this is a must have again in the near future.

Prayers for Jim as he heads to the heart hospital tomorrow for a procedure. Im glad Mom and Buzz are able to be there for him. Thinking and prayin for ya "Uncle Jim"

Sean and the boys went to the river today and will get back this weekend. Some hockey Dads and their boys went too so I am guessing they might just have their hands full at times!!!

The Graduate

Grace participated in Safety town for 2 weeks and absolutely loved it. They teach them safety from poison, fire, water, traffic, 911, teach them their address and phone number. It is a really great program for these young ones.
