NEW SHED GOING UP FINALLY!!!!!!!!!
Look at Miss Grace supervising the boys!!!
Hunter decided that sitting back and watching from the Ranger was a great place to be!!
After a long wait the new 40X80 shed is going up!! After our first rep ran with our $9700 deposit we put down last fall. Long story and don't feel like going into right now. All I will say is he better never come face to face with me or I will probably punch the dude!! So we went locally and we decided who on Monday and by Tuesday they already had the lumber here. Talk about amazing service!!Posted by Kath- at 6:21 PM 3 comments
Logan

Hard to see in the pics the staples but there is 7 of them. He has been doing pretty well with it but tonight it is really bothering him. He says it itches pretty bad but that is a good thing cause that means it is healing. I am a little concerned that they did not shave around the area and there is a lot of hair under the staples. I put a call into the Dr and of course he called when I was outside helping Sean. He told Hunter he would call me in the morning.Posted by Kath- at 5:32 PM 0 comments

Bailey
No my camera didn't give her red eyes this is how she really looks :(
Bailey did well at the vet today. Okay well not super but she did good considering what is going on with her. Woody (vet) got her on the table and was trying to touch the lump on her head but Bailey was yelping in pain. He said that first and for most we need to take care of the infection in there. She now has to be an inside dog (doesn't hurt my feelings) and needs a lot of TLC. We have her on Clavamox 375 mg 1 tablet every 12 hours. She also has to have a hot compress on her head twice a day for 10 minutes. This will eventually burst and will relieve the pressure that is in there. That is why she has to be an inside dog due to maggots getting in there if she was outside. We then will take her back in an 10 days to re-evaluate the situation. His biggest concern is the way her bone has grown upwards like that on top of her head. He believes there may be a tumor in there. But again first and for most we need to take care of her infection first. Once that is done we can do some further testing on her. So tonight I sat down on the floor with a hot compress and had Bailey lay her head on my lap. I thought oh man this is going to be challenging but she just laid there with her head on my lap for 10 minutes like a champ. I am guessing it felt pretty dang good :) She has been very good in the house and has not yet got under foot. Poor Gage though is really feeling left out being outside all by himself. I am sure I will cave soon and let him join her inside. Otherwise I have a bad feeling we will have a very destructive dog on our hands out there!!! Posted by Kath- at 8:39 PM 2 comments

Logan
Don't have a lot of details yet cause I have not seen him. Logan was at the lake with Paul today and Colby and Logan were throwing rocks in the water. Well Logan got hit in the head by one. He is doing good and have talked to him twice. He did end up going to the Watertown ER for 6 staples in his head. Once he is back home I will take some pics. We love you Logan and I heard you were pretty tough at the ER that's my boy!!!

Doesn't only happen once but twice!!!

We woke up this morning and Sean looked out the window like he does every morning. Turns around and says Kath wheres the tramp? So I got up to go find it. Okay boys I know you really wanted a tramp over by the pond so you could jump in. I guess your prayers were answered LOL!! I found pieces by Sean's truck, on the cement pad where the building is going. Haven't taken it down from the dirt pile yet but praying there is minimum damage.
Once again a vehicle gets dented by a tramp. First time it was the green truck and now this time it is Seans white truck. Posted by Kath- at 8:05 AM 4 comments

Prayers for Bailey
This picture brings tears to my eyes she looks so sad
Bailey will be 10 years old on September 15. Two weeks ago we noticed a lump on her head. We all thought she must of bumped it some how. Well the lump is growing fairly quick and now she is having yellow discharge from her eyes. I will be taking her to the vet this week and praying for a good out come. I had her in not that long ago for a check up and to have some lumps looked at on her chest. They tested those and they were just fatty tumors and nothing to worry about.Posted by Kath- at 8:51 AM 4 comments

Question
Okay seriously please post a comment and help me answer this question I have asked myself for years.
How come when the man is sick (even the slightest illness) he can lay on the couch all day and expect to get catered to, ignore the kids and even his wife except for when he needs a drink or something to eat. But when the woman is sick (even on her death bed, not litterly but you get what I am saying) she is expected to go on like it is a normal day. UGH!!! Why are we expected to function and they are not???????????

Hunter
Hunter ran a 1k this morning and came in 3rd out of 40+ kids. He had so much fun doing it and said he can't wait tell the next one. The first thing he said to me was "Next time I am not going to start out so fast that whooped me" Hunter is more of a sprinter then a long distance runner. Can't wait tell 7th grade when he can start track. GOOD JOB HUNTER!!!
