Anyone seen Zoey?

I go downstairs and see that Sean and Grace are sleeping. Hmmm where is Zoey? I wake Sean up and he says he doesn't know. I look in laundry room where she stays at night and when we are gone NO Zoey. So I head to Austins room wake him up Where is Zoey? He grumbles and rolls over. Now off to Logan's room Where is Zoey? I put her in her room I proceed to say no you didn't I looked. He gives me the teenage look like da Mom yes I did. So once again I go in the laundry room. I look behind her bed and behind the door then behind the towel hamper NO Zoey!! By this time I am in a panic where the heck is my dog. I pulled the drawer out under the dryer cause it was open a crack. Sure enough there she is sleeping in the dirty clothes. Good thing I wasn't going to do a load of laundry she blends in very well!!

Hobo Days

Waiting for Miss Grace (YUCK I look like crap)
Talking to her and telling her to have a great time

Miss Grace was in the hobo day parade for cheer. She had a blast and can't wait to do it next year.

Hunter Football

Hard to believe that another season of football is behind us. Hunter (#38) got the chance to play his last game of the season on the SDSU football field. Was a lot of fun to watch these little boys on such a big field.
Tomorrow is the start to a new hockey season. Jumping in with both feet this year. Logan and Hunter will more then likely be on the same team. Which will be awesome for us as parents so instead of going three different directions it should be only two. They will have practice this week 4 nights for an hour.

Influenza A has hit the Lesnar house. So far Logan and Austin are sick and I pray that it does not go any farther then that. Both are running fevers and have gotten as high as 103.1. To add to the fever they have the body aches, cough, sore throat and fatigue. Both slept a majority of the day and night. Poor little Austin looks like a mac truck has hit him. To top it all off they are out of the tamaflu so they need to suffer it out. Sickness has hit Brookings pretty hard this last few weeks. Will keep everyone posted as to whats going on.

Oh no he is already training Zoey to watch hunting shows!!
Kisses for Daddy

Zoey will be two months old tomorrow

So here is the story behind Zoey coming to the Lesnar family. You see I have this sweet husband who adores his wife!! He must cause he supposedly hates little dogs. But from the looks of the pictures maybe he has changed his mind. We have an Anniversary coming up on the 1st and I got my present a little early let me add absolutely no complaints from me. Anyways Nikki has been working on Sean trying to convince him a little dog would be great for our family. With all the sweet talking it worked!! Sean drove to Iowa this morning but told me he was going to Sioux Falls to get product for the guys for a job sneaky thing. I came home to meet him for lunch and he was in the bonus room. I set my Jimmy Johns on the counter and headed up there. He sat on the couch with a blanket on. He said he had a surprise under the blanket for me so of course I reached in right away he then shook my hand. I was like what in the world you goof ball. He then uncovered this gorgeous tiny cute little Yorkie. I was in complete shock and thought no way this is happening to me. He swore we would not have a little dog and if we did it would be after the kids were grown. We decided the name Zoey thanks Val for the name. Now your wondering what does Gage think? Not sure he smelt her but didn't seem to interested so we will see with time. So far she has adjusted well to our family and we all love her especially the kids and I. We are still working on Sean but I think before we know it they will be pals.

Is it really mid Ocotober??
I know you all think I am crazy but I love it when it snows. I am probably one of the rare ones who were not belly achin about the white stuff. I think it is so pretty how it covers everything and to see it through our windows makes it even better. So all I have to say is LET IT SNOW

What a fun afternoon and evening I had shopping in Sioux Falls. Nikki helped me pick out some great things for the house. I am really excited to get them put where they need to be. We then can decide what else we need to give it the final touch. I will post some pics from before and after once it is done.

I really miss my kids and can't wait to see them tomorrow. It has been awhile since I have been away from them like this. I had a really nice conversation with Logan this evening he is sure growing up fast. Logan got to hang out with his uncles this weekend and he sure seemed to have fun.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to our good friends Steve and Keri. They will be bringing another addition to their family tomorrow. We pray for a healthy baby and an easy labor. I can't wait to hold that bundle of joy.

Well I am off to Sioux Falls to shop!! I am looking forward to an afternoon with a girlfriend and no kiddos. I'm looking for some things for the house and an anniversary gift for my hubby. We are creeping up on our 12Th wedding anniversary. WOW 12 years where does time go. I want to find him something so absolutely amazing I just don't exactly know what that amazing thing could be.

So was back at the doctor on Friday once again. Friday morning I was just not feeling right and my heart rate was bouncing between 123-129. I called the doctor and left a message and when he called back of course he wanted to see me. My heart rate then was at 147 and I am sure some of that was fear of what is he going to say this time. He put me on a beta blocker once a day to take the edge off. I took it yesterday and it brought it down to 97 when I was laying around watching TV but once I was up it went to 103-118 back and forth. UGH I hate taking three pills a day. One I have been on for about 3 1/2 years for my kidneys and now I take one for the graves disease and one for my heart. Am I really 32 I ask cause I sure feel like I should be close to 80. Today my heart rate has been around 120 but I have been pretty active all day doing laundry and cleaning house. Once Sean gets home from hunting with the boys we will eat supper. I have spaghetti sauce simmering, fresh homemade bread ready to be put in the oven and a double layer chocolate cake for desert. After our bellies are full we will clean up and hit the couch for the evening. Then hopefully my heart rate will go back into the 90's at least. I go in for more lab work this week so will keep you posted.

The outside is all done minus the landscaping. The only thing I noticed when I looked at these pictures is my hubby planted grass but we have none in the front. Weird I wonder why he didn't plant a front yard. You can see in the top picture the grass is really coming along if you look at the side of the house. It is so wonderful to be back home!!!

YIKES!! I went with Sean to check his trail cameras this afternoon. After collecting all the cards we went back to the shop to see what we got. Does, Bucks, Raccoons and yeah a Coyote. That totally freaked me out. This is right on the other side of the river. If you look at the date that was taken early this morning.

This is to my hubby- Thanks so much for all your help around the house lately. It definitely takes a little weight off my shoulders. Thanks too for all your help with the kids getting them to the places they need to be. I know it hasn't been easy lately with me not feeling well. You have been a trooper I truly appreciate you. Love ya sweets!!!

My Best Friend

My best friend forever and always
Grandmas 80th birthday

the last picture taken with Grandma.

First time Grandma got to hold her Great Granddaughter.
Miss Grace was named after her. Grandmas name Lillian Grace so we turned it to Grace Lillian. My grandma was my best friend and today marks the day of 4 years since she passed away. I have so many awesome memories of her. She moved to Brookings and we really got close and I spent a lot of time with her. I even snuck her Diet Coke and Crispy Cream donuts. Even though she was told she couldn't have them I was on her side. When I would go to Sioux Falls I would bring back some Stone Cold for her. The boys loved going to her apt and watching baseball with her. You are an amazing lady and I can't wait tell the day we can see each other again. I MISS YOU GRANDMA SO MUCH.

Hard to believe that this week is almost over already. I started back up at the gym this week. Feels great to be back at it but still a bit nervous. A while back Sean had bought me a heart monitor watch. Who would of thought I would rely on it like I do now. Today when I got to the gym I checked my heart rate it was at 117 resting heart rate let me add. That made me a bit nervous due to the fact I hadn't even begun my workout. So I decided once again the treadmill would be better then the eliptical. So I walked for 35 minutes at 4 mph and a 3.5 incline. Hopefully this medicine I am taking will get my heart rate back down. I guess normal is supposed to be between 40-60 I have a ways to go to get there. I go in next week for lab work again and praying the numbers are better.

This weekend Logan and Hunter are taking the bow saftey course. Once they pass that they can start hunting with their bows. They are both excited about taking the class and that they get to do it together. I believe the youth pheasent opener is this weekend so maybe if it drys up here they can go kick up some birds.
