So tonight Austin brings me his report card along with other papers. His STAR Reading Diagnostic Report said, Austins grade equivalent (GE) score is 5.7. His test performance is therefore comparable to that of an average 5th grader after the 7th month of the school year. Austin also achieved a national Percentile Rank (PR) of 95. This score is in the above-average range and means that Austin scored greater than 95% of students nationally in the same grade.
His STAR Math Diagnostic Report said, Austins Grade Equivalent (GE) score is 3.9. His test performance is therefore comparable to that of an average 3rd grader after the 9th month of the school year. Austin achieved a national Percentile Rank (PR) of 89. This score is in the above average range and means that Austin scored higher then 89% of students nationally in the same grade.
They recommending accelerated math at the level of grade 4. Austin will be going into 3rd grade this fall.
WAY TO GO AUSTIN!!! VERY proud of you bud (or Oscar as Mom likes to call you)

From the mouth of babes
So tonight Grace and I are driving to the farm and Grace says to me
"Mom when I get older will you buy me a car and get me a phone cause I need that"
Then when we got home we were watching American Idol and Keith Urban (who I love) was on singing kiss a girl
"Mom do you think boys like to kiss girls? I think so Mom"
OH MY we are going to be in trouble with this little girl!!!!!

More House Updates

It is really coming up fast. Today we went and picked out the exterior doors. I got a really pretty front door with some red stain glass. I know imagine that something red on my house. I still want a red house but worried it will clash with Seans shed which is tan with burgundy roof and waynes coating. What do you think?

Here you can see the loft upstairs which when done will have a log staircase and railing. This will overlook the great room and part of the kitchen. I have a good idea this maybe one of my favorite places to be once the house is done. I plan on putting an overstuffed chair and ottoman up there. Thinking it will be a great place to relax and read a book or magazine and while doing that it will have an amazing view of the river.

Austin
Austin gives me this booklet for mothers day
"Hats Off to MOM"
My Mom wears many hats in our family. My Mom is a teacher. She taught me how to walk, play and talk.
My Mom is the best Mother ever!
My Mom is a chauffeur. She drives me to hockey practice.
My Mom is a cook. I love it when she makes cookies.
My Mom is a nurse. She always makes me feel better when she says something funny.
My Mom is a sanitation worker. When she sees my room she says. "Clean your ROOM!
My Mom is a magician. She can always find lost things. Once she found my boys and girls club card.
Thanks Austin that was the best gift ever!!!

Graces Surgery
Val and baby Noah came to give Grace some love
Kamden just loves her he brought her the cutest little lion.
catchin some shut eye which let me add she did that about 95% of the day
I feel yucky I keep telling mom my tummy hurts. She jumps up every time and gets this blue bag for me. I think cause she doesn't want to get puked on!! I wish I felt better cause if I did I would keep telling her that to see how many times she would jump for me. Ha Ha!!! I am still pretty sleepy. I was really ornary after surgery hitting and screaming I tried numerous times to pull my IV out. I did a little bit and got blood in the line. They then put morphine in my IV and I took a long nap and keep dosing off. I slept almost the entire evening at the hospital. They ended up letting me go home even though I wouldn't eat or drink. I finished the last of my IV bag and they gave Mommy lots of instructions. Posted by Kath- at 10:25 PM 3 comments
