We had a busy weekend in the Lesnar household. Sean and Austin went to the cities for hockey and unfortunately did not come out with a win. I think they enjoyed the one on one they got with each other. We had a lay ed back weekend for the most part. The kids played outside a lot with this nice weather we are having they soaked up as much as they could. Hunter received a black eye from his big bro wrestling on the tramp. Grace learned to get some speed on her bike and thought she was pretty cool. While they were having fun I took advantage and got some spring cleaning done.

Friday I heard back from the Dr on my lab results. My Graves is starting to move in the right direction so that made me a bit relieved. My calcium levels were good but my PTH levels were low so will recheck again in a few weeks to see if they have changed at all. Some days I feel if its not one thing with my health its another. Leave it in Gods hands cause I just don't have the mental or physical energy anymore to worry about it.

The water has gone down enough that we have brought in 7 loads of gravel (crushed concrete and asphalt) from Bowes. Sean said they will be bringing another 6-10 today. By this time the driveway should be nice and level and smooth. This weekend is going to consist of cleaning and organizing the garage. Val T I heard you have experience at this what time you coming over? Ha Ha

Driveway...

Heath saving some of the sandbox toys that were floating away

Leave it to Heath to test the deep water in the driveway. Gurantee you if we had another 4 wheeler Sean would be right there with him.

View from our bedroom deck of our man made pond.

Gage what a trooper he was willing to show you how deep it is right up by the kids swing set.

Ditch along driveway

Guess we wont be using that garage door anytime to soon

This was our man made pond that was around 18ft deep is now a lot wider and possibly a lot deeper .

Thinking the garbage man won't be here for awhile

Another pic of the driveway.

Sean and I went to town for supper tonight and by the time we got home more of the driveway was under water. Makes you wonder about tomorrow morning. Less then 24 hours ago the driveway was still dry. Amazing how fast the water can come up.

I get home from work today as a car is leaving my driveway. I ask Sean who that was and he said someone dropping off flowers for you. So on my counter I find....10 daffodils with a card that says This Gift of Hope is given to you anonymously by an American Cancer Society donor. WOW it made me teary eyed. Ironic since tomorrow I go for my 9 month check up in SF. I have to go every 3 months for full body check overs. So to whom ever sent the flowers I want to thank you for thinking about me. If I know you and you read this I really don't want to know who you are it just makes me smile to think that someone cares to do something like that. May of seemed small to you but it really warmed my heart.

River....

Yikes...

Thought I would check that site to see if they had updated since 4:30 am and they did. We are now at 10.76ft and it was updated at 5:30. Major flood stage is at 12 ft so we are not far off of that. Keep checking back cause I am trying to updated often.

I will have to say I am a bit nervous for the sun to rise today. We went from 9.2ft lastnight to 10.68ft at 4:30 this morning. I will more then likely have some interesting pics to post by tonight.

Sunday, March 14, 2010

Its official we are in flood zone the river is at 9.2 ft. Crazy if you think about it yesterday we were at 5.33ft in the morning so less then 48 hours we went from that to 9.2ft.

Driveway...

When I left for town at 1:30 we barely had any water along the driveway. I returned home around 5:30 and it had filled up this much already.

Slowly creeping up there I am guessing by morning we will be well over 9 ft

We are filling up pretty fast' the 7.99 ft was at 7 am. So from yesterday morning it was at 5.33 ft and it has come up that much in just 24 hours. I will go out shortly and take some more pics and post on here.
