New addition

"Baby Kennedy"
Miss Grace and I had a lot of fun at the Mall of America. We went to the American Girl store and she was so amazed by all the dolls. How could a Mom resist and not buy her daughter one of the coolest dolls out there. We had fun picking out one and buying her an outfit. I bet we were in there for at least 45 minutes if not an hour. I thought Sean was going to freak when he saw she got another doll. Thank goodness he didn't ask the price!!

Minnesota Showcase Hockey

"Hunter Man"

Both boys

Logan leaning in to give some body to knock the puck away

Hunter far left helping the goalie out with the puck. Logan is also in that pic #12

Logan with the puck

Logan #12 Hunter #7

They played on the same line and it was fun to watch them work together. Hunter would rather be wing but he has a tendency to skate back and play defense so they put him back. Logan always plays defense and does well at it.

What a fun weekend of hockey we had in Minnesota. They won two and lost two but overall it was fun hockey!!

My Mandy Doll

This is me when I was little playing with my favorite doll in the world. She was called My friend Mandy.

My mom surprised me the other day with her. Okay I know I am a grown woman but I was excited to have something to call my own once again. She had it up in her attic and Hunter went in there and found it for her a couple of weeks ago. Miss Grace wants to play with it all the time. Hint Hint Mom can you please give her one of her own!!

Miss Grace

Perfecting the pout

Little Miss Grace

Sean went to Sioux Falls to watch the SDSU men play ball. So it's the kiddos and I hanging out here at home. So we thought we would experiment with the Magic Bullet we got. We made fruit smoothies and they were really good. I loved the fact that it was fast and really easy to make. All the kids really enjoyed them and asked if they could have one for Breakfast!! These will also be great for Sean and I in the mornings. We are getting back into the workout mode and eating a lot better. We both like to drink protein shakes and this will be a fun way to mix it up a little bit.

Below you will find a slideshow I made of the demo of the house today. It had to be one of the hardest things I have done since the fire. To stand there and watch our home something that we have poured our hearts into for three years and all the memories go down into a pile of rubble. Seeing Logan's red wall (noticable in a pic) remembering how Brandi and I spent an etire weekend redoing his room to surprise him while Dad had him out antelope hunting. Or my bathroom that Nikki and I put many hours into. So many little things like that brought so many tears to my eyes. I know new memories will be made in our new house. My kittys you will see in a few pictures one they are just sitting on the old well like nothing was happening then all the sudden they have their front legs on the side of the ice rink and were looking over their shoulders wondering what in the world. The last picture is of Tom my big black cat that I love! I was so nervous cause he ran into that pile of rubble in the midst of it. When it was all said and done he came out of who knows where. That was a smile I for sure needed at that moment. Walking around the house afterwards was very hard to see half burnt football and hockey trading cards of Logans all over the yard. Gracie's bed half there with the jammies I came home in when I was a baby were hanging there and just moving with the breeze. But seeing Graces cabbage patch kids really put me in my place. I thought to myself you know this could of been a tornado and we could be digging through this heap trying to find our belongings or heaven forbid someone. THANK YOU LORD we are all okay and our "things" can be replaced. This is to a New Beginning for the Lesnar family. We can only look forward from here.

Hunter had to write a paragraph for school "If I won the lottery" I believe this was for language. It really touched my heart when I read it tonight. He has the biggest heart of any kid I know. So I wanted to share his paragraph with you so here it is...

If I won the lottery I would rebuild my house. I would get the same clothes for my family that we had before. I would buy some toys to play with. I would get a TV, and a table so we can eat on. I would get a lot of things to play with. I would get things for the kitchen. I would just get a lot of things for my family that they need, and get it for them if they need to play with. THE END

(I typed it exactly how he had it)

Now if that doesn't tug at a Mom's heart I don't know what would

1 Month

"Our Home"

It is so hard to believe that today it has been exactly a month since the fire. What an emotional ride it has been for our family and close friends. When something like this happens to your family you really find out who your TRUE friends really are. We have some great friends who have done so much for us and we appreciate them so much. I look back and wonder how we would of made it this far without them!! I would be lying if I said I was okay cause I know I am not. It saddens me to think our home is gone and tomorrow I think it will all really be put into reality for me. We will be having the house bull dozed down tomorrow. I will be going out to watch and take some pictures. It will be a very emotional time for me but I know I need to be there.
