Mouse

There's a mouse in the house
I heard him squeaking
I hadn't seen him yet
and, I swear, I wasn't peeking!
I bought four traps,
Could there be MORE?
I heard they come in herds.
But Austin begged me not to set them
(I believe we’ll have some words!)
Last night, while sleeping
I could hear some squeeking
Is that a mouse I asked myself
Bold as you please, right there in my closet he'd be
It could be just him
Or a whole regiment!
What I’d like to know is
Should I charge them rent?!
